Most of the patients hospitalized are ages 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients 65 or older. The total number of local recovered cases is 296.

In nearby Saginaw and Bay counties, cases of coronavirus are also rising. Bay County has now reported more than 1,000 cases.

An outbreak at the Delphos Eagles lodge in late September, for example, has hospitalized at least eight people, according to the Allen County Health Department, which has identified 18 cases who attended the lodge since Sept. 22.
