The Internet Clapped Back at a Troll Who Body Shamed Billie Eilish

The Internet Clapped Back at a Troll Who Body Shamed Billie Eilish”

The 18-year-old artist has spoken up frequently about her experience of being body shamed. We do not wish to include any comments of this nature about Billie on our website or any accounts being used to share such comments, so we will not be featuring them in this article.

American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish recently stood up to body-shamers by wearing an outfit that showed off her shoulders and legs. The singer kept her errands day simple by sporting a nude tank top paired with khaki sweat shorts.

This is not the first time that Billie has been a victim of harsh body-shaming.

Eilish is an exceptionally talented young singer whose album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Eilish has previously tackled body shaming in the past by sharing a video during her live shows.

It seems like yesterday the "Bad Guy" singer released her power ballad "Ocean Eyes" on her Soundcloud, but alas, it was 2016 when the song immediately went viral and set Eilish on her stardom journey. "Some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me". Guts are normal, they're normal! "In 10 months Billie Eilish has developed a mid-30's wine mom body", one person wrote on Twitter. In it, Eilish sheds her baggy clothes while delivering a moving message about body positivity.

"In the thought provoking and powerful video, the 18-year-old slowly removed layers of clothing, while she can be heard asking: "If I wear more, if I wear less, who decides what that makes me?"

Eilish often wears baggy clothes when she performs.

In the past, she explained why her signature style is wearing "baggy clothes".

In the TikTok video, creator Chizi Duru says: "Y'all go to start normalising real bodies, ok?"

"Everyone having an opinion because a woman (whose job has nothing to do with her body) has a body which doesn't precisely meet society's terrifyingly narrow beauty standards is, apart from anything else, SO BORING". Breasts sag, especially after breastfeeding. "Do you know me?" But I feel you watching, always. Earlier this year, she posted a video of herself in a bikini, and received a lot of negative comments for it. Even though you have never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it. Why?
