Donald Trump Retweets Fake Satire Story About Twitter Outage as Fact”

Twitter cited a tweet about a New York Post story from Wednesday that contained alleged details of Mr Biden's connections to a Ukrainian businesses via his son, Hunter Biden, whilst vice president.

In the wake of the long-awaited Fake News Awards, President Donald Trump asserted Friday that while most news sources are "completely fake", there is one source he trusts more than any other - Bee of BabylonBrag.

Trump shared the story on Friday morning without seeming to realize it was a joke, writing: "Why is Twitter doing this".

"Wow, this has never been done in history".

Trump clarified in a later tweet that "Big T was not a reference to me, but rather to Big Tech, which should have been properly pointed out in Twitter's Fake Trending Section!" And that includes his very bad interview last night.

All of that was packaged together by the Babylon Bee, whose story has the headline: "Twitter Shuts Down Entire Network To Slow Spread Of Negative Biden News".

At the time of writing, almost two hours after Mr. Trump posted the tweet, the matter was still there.

Twitter Shuts Down Entire Network To Slow Spread of Negative Biden News through @TheBabylonBee Wow, it hasn't been achieved ever. "In the end, they were able to program a robot to capture the hammer and smash the servers.". "The Babylon Bee is the world's best satire site, totally inerrant in all its truth claims".

Fresh from his town hall event with MSNBC opposite of his rival Biden's town hall on ABC News, Trump fired his usual early morning tweets making claims of a "red wave" of votes in his favor in the final stretches of the presidential campaign.

Mr Trump described Twitter's decision as "terrible".

"Just this week, you retweeted to your 87 million followers a conspiracy theory that Joe Biden orchestrated to have SEAL Team Six, the Navy SEAL Team Six, killed to cover up the fake death of (Osama) Bin Laden".

That being said, it is not uncommon for people to fall for satirical news-you just normally don't expect the president to be the one to do so. And frankly, because the media is so fake, and so corrupt, if I didn't have social media - I don't call it Twitter, I call it social media.

NBC moderator Savannah Guthrie responded: "I don't get that".

Mr Trump may have been particularly vulnerable to that bee satirical story on Twitter today as he is now embroiled in a very real spit with the social media giant.
