Dream11 IPL 2020, Match 34: DC vs CSK

Dream11 IPL 2020, Match 34: DC vs CSK”

On Saturday (17th October) evening, the 25-year-old Delhi Capitals right-arm fast bowler Kagiso Rabada completed his 50 wickets in Indian Premier League (IPL) career and became the fastest bowler (in terms of the number of matches) to complete 50 wickets in the IPL history. The southpaw eventually ended up with 33* (13) with the help of four sixes.

It came with Stoinis's exit in the 16th over. DC scored 9 off the 18th over as Dhawan sailed past his previous best IPL score of 97.

"He would have to be reassessed going forward, at this stage, you would imagine that it would take a few days or a couple of weeks", Fleming said after CSK's five-wicket loss.

Earlier, CSK, after winning the toss and opting to bat, got off to a bad start as they lost Sam Curran on the third ball of the match.

Dhawan remained though and, following half-centuries in each of his last two games, looked in excellent touch, putting on 66 with Shreyas Iyer (23 from 23) before Dwayne Bravo accounted for the Delhi skipper in the 12th over. Bowling is led by Purple cap holder Kagiso Rabada accompanied by Nortje.

The all-rounder had faced just one ball prior to the final over but proceeded to hoick his second over midwicket for six but nailing the next over the offside for another maximum.

It all happened in the last over of powerplay when Du Plessis guided the ball towards mid-on and ran for a single.

Shane Watson, who had joined Faf du Plessis in the middle after Curran's fall, hit two fours in the third over. du Plessis joined the party in the fifth over as he took on Anrich Nortje, hitting the speedster for two fours and a six.

Du Plessis and Rabada had an ugly crash during the game on Saturday.

RCB, chasing 178, had fallen to 102-3 and needed 64 from the final 30 balls to register an unlikely win.

Batting first CSK didn't have a pleasing start as they lost the opener, Sam Curran, for a duck in the first over. He showed more trust in Ravindra Jadeja and Karn Sharma. CSK finished at 179/4 in 20 overs. Jadeja threw his bat at almost everything too, and connected more often than not to finish on an unbeaten 33 off 13.
