Obama to Campaign for Biden in Battleground Pennsylvania Next Week

Obama to Campaign for Biden in Battleground Pennsylvania Next Week”

Dillon said that although many national polls show a widening lead for the Democratic candidate, polls can lack precision or be faulty, which appeared to be the case in 2016.

The President is busy trying to revive his flagging campaign for the November 3 presidential election with large rallies in the southern states of Florida and Georgia, where he's locked in a tight race with Biden.

Still, Biden's lead has been more consistent and often over 50%, he has higher likability numbers and the third-party vote is less of a factor four years later, according to NBC.

Obama will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday to campaign on behalf of Biden and Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris, the campaign said in a statement.

Despite the financial advantage, O'Malley Dillon said: "We think this race is far closer than folks on (Twitter) think".

Biden's campaign manager also warned that while the campaign is seeing "robust leads" nationally, it's only up by a few points in certain key states, including Arizona and North Carolina, and "we need to campaign like we're trailing" in the polls.

Ahead of Trump's town hall, NBC received backlash for allowing the president a platform in the same time slot as Biden, whose town hall was announced first after Trump dropped out the debate.

President Donald Trump on Saturday will speak in Muskegon, Michigan about supporting the American way of life.

According to The New York Times, Dillon made a similar pleas urging grass-roots supporters to beat back complacency during a call with Biden backers on Friday.

"Running against the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics puts pressure on me", Trump said.

The campaign now has $432 million to spend on getting Biden elected, it said.
