PlayStation 5 vs Xbox Series X: India prices compared”

Initially, Sony India had suggested November 19 as the launch date of the new PlayStation models, though it later redacted that date from its website. The PS5 will cost Rs 49,990 while the PS5 Digital Edition will cost Rs 39,990 in India.

PlayStation 5 price in India has finally been revealed.

Sony also revealed the pricing of its accessories in India. Earlier Sony also announced that 99 per cent of PS4 games will be able to run on the next-gen console as well. The HD Camera retails at INR 5,190 and the DualSense Charging Station will cost INR 2,590, these prices can be converted to $70 and $35,27 respectively.

The latest Sony console comes in two variants, one is a standard edition that comes with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive whereas the other is digital edition, which does not come with an optical disc drive.

Sony has also announced the pricing of some exclusive gaming titles.

The DualSense controller, which was officially introduced, was presented to users with a design with black and white colors. Voice chat recording for moderation is a feature that will be available on PS5 when it launches, and will enable users to record their voice chats on PS5 and submit them for moderation review.

Speaking of which, we still do not know when the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will be available for buying in India. According to Hideaki Nishino, Senior Vice President, Platform Planning & Management, in a PlayStation blog, the new user experience (UX) is completely centred on the player and provides them with a next-generation experience with deeper immersion that connects then with some fantastic games. The app shows you the console's display output and gives you touch buttons so you can play right from your phone (or, if you have a controller in hand, you can use that too). It's worth noting that you no longer need to leave the game you're playing while watching a "Share Screen" thanks to new picture-in-picture functionality.
