Three astronauts dock at ISS within three hours of launch”

On the International Space Station, the Electron-VM oxygen production system has failed in the Russian Orbital Segment. The crew of the Soyuz MS-17 manned spacecraft, which will travel to the International Space Station (ISS) on October 14, will bring additional equipment to detect an air leak on board the outpost, Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Ryzhikov said at a press conference prior to the Flight on Tuesday. "We'll continue to train crews over here and we're going to have cosmonauts come to the Johnson Space Center and train". "The flight seen from space looks even cooler than from the Earth!" The six crew members will serve together for seven days before Cassidy, Evaneshin and Wagner return to Earth aboard the Soyuz MS-16, leaving Robins, Regikov and Cod-Sverhkov to begin Expedition 64.

This is actually the second spaceflight for Ryzhikov, Rubins, and Kud-Sverchkov and also will make them the 241st people to visit this unique microgravity laboratory.

The new arrivals will spend six months on the space lab.

According to NASA, Rubins became the first person to sequence DNA in space during her first spaceflight in 2016.
