Xiaomi's New Fast Charging Tech Shows Mindblowing Speed”

Announcing the launch of the 80W wireless technology, the company in a blog post said, "The introduction of 80W Mi Wireless Charging Technology is expected to set a new benchmark not only in the area of wireless charging but in charging as a whole".

In a video, Xiaomi has additionally demonstrated how the brand new 80W wi-fi charging tech is charging a modified Mi 10 Pro telephone with a 4,000mAh battery capability in 19 minutes. It's now going one step further with 80W Mi Wireless Charging that takes nearly as little time to do the same job sans wires. And, it is said to take around eight minutes to charge the battery to 50%. This would require wireless charging systems that are just as fast, if not faster than wired systems, and this is definitely a step in that direction towards a portless future.
