Taylor Swift's 'folkore' studio sessions come to Disney+ on November 25”

When the album was recorded, they recorded these musical collaborations thousands of miles apart, but here they all got together in upstate NY earlier this fall to perform these songs in-person together for the first time.

Taylor Swift fans, clear your schedules for tonight, because "folklore: the long pond studio sessions" is streaming exclusively on Disney+ starting at midnight (PST).

The release of the "Folklore" film on Disney Plus comes on the heels of Swift's trio of wins at Sunday's American Music Awards, including the top Artist of the Year laurel.

In folklore, Taylor Swift's latest album, collaborations with Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, and Justin Vernon fueled, as Mashable's Erin Strecker wrote, a fusion of "folk and indie and country thrills. that honors her past but moves her oeuvre forward in special ways".

The new Disney+ addition was filmed in upstate NY earlier this year in September.

The songs will be performed in the order in which they appear on the album.

In the film's trailer, Swift reveals how creating folklore became a "floatation device" for her in a time when she could've "absolutely lost [her] mind".

Swift took to her social media today to make the surprise announcement to fans. "Well it's 11/24 and 24-11=13 so I've got an announcement".

Swift also directed folklore: the long pond studio sessions, and the press release went out of the way to explain what she used to pull it off.
