The Mandalorian Makes Major Baby Yoda Reveal

The Mandalorian Makes Major Baby Yoda Reveal”

Dave Filoni just delivered a shot of pure Star Wars straight into our eyeballs, and damn, it felt good.

But if you have, you probably noticed Baby Yoda using the force to snack on some tasty macarons.

It centered around Din Djarin (a.k.a. Mando) and Baby Yoda (more on that name, in a bit) traveling to the forest planet of Corvus in search of Ahsoka Tano, whom he hopes will tell him where to find the Jedi.

Ahsoka, played by Rosario Dawson in the episode, was the student of Anakin Skywalker before he turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader.

As the Clone Wars began and the Jedi Order fell, Grogu was taken from the temple and hidden - after which his memory becomes dark.

The episode also suggested that other well-known Star Wars characters are set to make a comeback in this series, such as Grand Admiral Thrawn, who has never shown up in live-action before either and was last seen in the animated Star Wars: Rebels. (RIP Yaddle, I guess?) Who took Grogu from the Temple and hid him for all these years, and how did he end up on Arvala-7 and on Gideon's radar?

Ahsoka's refusal to train Grogu makes sense in the context of Anakin's fall, and it's also possible that she's sending Mando on a wild goose chase to Tython, knowing that it's unlikely any Jedi will answer Grogu and reveal themselves if they've been hidden this long. With her on the scene, Mando and Baby Yoda got a ton of information about what in the kriff is going on.

"I've seen what feelings do to a fully trained Jedi Knight", Ahsoka says.
