Miley Cyrus mourns death of her dog from multiple cancers”

Miley Cyrus mourned the death of her pet dog Mary Jane on Thursday, January 7, revealing she had to set the pitbull combine down.

Cyrus said she was "advised to spend every second savoring her special spirit", but added that "wasn't anything new" and something she had been doing since she first met Mary Jane almost a decade ago. Now, Cyrus has shared the final version on her Instagram. Cyrus paired her emotional tribute to her "best friend" with photos and videos as well as a special song dedicated to her pet dog. "It has been my honor being her mom and best friend", she added.

If only we were all more like Mary Jane. It was something more than a friend or family member.

In life it is easy to take things for granted.

"I thanked her repeatedly as she took her last breath for who and what she has been to me", Miley continued. To let little miracles pass you by without moments of gratitude.
