'Saved By the Bell' Star Dustin Diamond Hospitalized, Cancer Likely”

Saved by the Bell's Dustin Diamond has been hospitalized in Florida, and TMZ is saying sources are concerned he may have cancer.

According to his team, worries are that Diamond may be battling cancer.

The 44-year-old star sought medical attention after experiencing "pain all over his body and a general sense of unease", his team tells the outlet.

A spokesperson for the actor confirmed to TheWrap that Diamond has been hospitalized but was unable to provide any update on his condition. We're told Dustin's family has a history of cancer - his mother died of breast cancer - but it's unclear what kind of cancer they suspect in his case.

He continued to play Screech on the initial run of Saved By The Bell on NBC from 1989 until 1993 and kept the character going on multiple revivals.

Diamond, who also reprised his role as "Screech" in "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" and "The New Class", was not cast in Peacock's current reboot of the show.

Saved by the Bell airs only on Stan.
