Here is the new release date”

2021 looks to be quite a year for Warner Bros. movies, with the likes of Tom & Jerry (26 February), Dune, The Matrix 4, Space Jam: A New Legacy, and many more. According to Deadline, the company has changed its date set on May 21 this year to March 26, leaving just over two months to hit theaters ... and HBO Max, of course. However, sources recently told The Hollywood Reporter that Legendary and Warner have reached a deal that will allow Godzilla's release to go forward as planned. Warner Bros. had been embroiled in legal entanglements with Legendary over its decision to simultaneously debut all its 2021 films in theaters and on HBO Max, without consulting partner studios such as Legendary.

Warner Bros and Legendary are coming up with a new monster film titled Godzilla Vs Kong.

Godzilla vs. Kong Do Battle Two Months Early, On 26 March

That new strategy had been a sticking point with production company Legendary Entertainment, which financed the majority of Godzilla vs. Kong's budget and was reportedly blindsided by Warner's shift to streaming releases. They even faced off in 1962's King Kong vs. Godzilla from Toho, the Japanese studio behind the Godzilla series.

As per a recent update, the monster film's release date has been pre-poned and will now release in March instead of May. The film will also show who is much stronger, Godzilla or King Kong. It's a shared cinematic universe between Godzilla and King Kong. Terry Rossio wrote the script, with Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, and Brian Rogers serving as producers, and Kenji Okuhira, Yoshimitsu Banno, Jon Jashni, and Thomas Tull serving as executive producers. The movie was initially slated to release in June 2020, but the release was delayed because of the ongoing health crisis. The film is from director Adam Wingard and stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Kyle Chandler.
