Kingswinford man arrested on suspici. racially abusing West Brom midfielder Romaine Sawyers”

West Bromwich: A man has been arrested on suspicion of racially abusing West Bromwich Albion midfielder Romaine Sawyers online. We will not tolerate racism'.

'The club has a proud history of confronting all forms of discrimination and will assist the authorities with their inquiries, seeking the toughest available legal punishment, as well as a lifetime ban from The Hawthorns for the individual responsible.

Albion boss Sam Allardyce offered his support to Sawyers and questioned what could be done to stop online abuse.

They say the player seems to have everything "completely closed" with West Brom having negotiated the nature of the deal himself.

His comments came after Manchester United condemned the "mindless idiots" who had racially abused Tuanzebe and Martial.

"He is extremely upset as anybody would be". We have gone through the right channels and we will see what the outcome is. More than Romaine have suffered throughout football in the last few days.

Allardyce took O'Shea off when it became apparent that the decision to play a three-man defence was the wrong one.

Fulham's first goal was beautifully worked, with the recalled Aleksandar Mitrovic controlling Ademola Lookman's ball forward and then playing in DeCordova Reid, who fired home after racing down the right.

A 2-1 loss to the Blades, where Tuanzebe inadvertently turned in Oliver Burke's victor for the Blades, appeared to be the catalyst for online abuse that saw racist terms and money emojis put on Instagram comments of the Manchester United pair's most recent posts.

"Tackling online hate is a priority for football, and I believe social media companies need to do more", he said.

Tuanzebe, 23, was subjected to vile racist comments on his Instagram account, including one which read 'DAMNNN N*****' as well as several abhorrent monkey emojis on an old photo that he had posted a fortnight ago of his United shirt and number.

"In sport, as in wider society", the statement continued, "we must create a social media environment where hateful and discriminatory actions are as unacceptable online as they would be on the street".

"It's disgusting and the players and everyone... we've spoken to each other, of course, and they're fine, to put it that way".
