Xiaomi introduces Mi Air Charge - the technology that is revolutionizing device charging”

One phone was picked up and placed at the 100cm mark it began charging. This is a special safety feature for the health of users. Now, Xiaomi has announced "Mi Air Charge Technology" with a claim that it can charge devices "within a radius of several meters". As its name suggests, Mi Air Charge is created to let users remotely charge their electronic devices including smartphones without any cables, pads, or wireless charging stands.

Smartphone charging technology has improved dramatically in the last few years with some phones sucking down 65W of power or more. True wireless charging is the ideal solution for it while you are In the same room with the wireless power transmitter, you have it The phone will be charged no matter where you areEven if you still are Wearing in the hand.

Imagine, for example, that you could just put your phone or watch down in the kitchen and they'd be charged.

The manufacturing industry is growing every day and technologies hit the market from time to time.

The leading tech company Xiaomi on Friday announced the Mi Air Charge. It's bigger plan is to equip all smart home devices with its remote charging capabilities. That's the long-term aim of these systems, or even better, passive charging of devices when its needed, rather than having to stop and deliberately charge a device because it's running low. Air Charge technology is capable of charging multiple devices at a time.

So how does the Mi Air Charge Technology actually work?

The company didn't say how long it would take to charge a fully spent phone, but wireless chargers are rated by output in watts (W) and anything 18W or higher is considered fast charging.

How does this technology work?

It has a built-in 5-phase interface antenna, which can accurately detect the position of the device to charge it. These other antennas can then transmit millimeter-wide waves via beamforming to the smartphone.

While on the supported smartphone, Xiaomi has developed an antenna array with a "beacon antenna" and "receiving antennas". This is done through something called the rectifier circuit.

This is another very important question that many may ask. We can expect it to become a reality, say like four to five years, down the road. However, we cannot tell the effect of exposure to such charges over the long term.

The Motorola demo has been posted to Weibo and isn't a polished showcase like we've got from Xiaomi. However, it did not give a specific distance range.

Xiaomi has showcased a new remote charging that charges devices through the air.
