50% of Americans question Joe Biden's mental and physical fitness for office

50% of Americans question Joe Biden's mental and physical fitness for office”

According to a report from CNN, the president's German shepherds were sent back last week to Wilmington, Del., because of an aggressive incident at the White House.

The two German shepherds have now been sent back to the family home in DE, where they are expected to remain.

Joe Biden's two German Shepherds have both been removed from the White House and sent back to his family home in DE after the younger of the two - Major - had a "biting incident".

White House press secretary Jen Psaki explained the interaction by saying the dogs "are still getting acclimated and accustomed to their new surroundings and people". "The president will look forward, highlighting the role that Americans will play in beating the virus and getting the country back to normal", Psaki said.

Jennifer Klein, who served as a senior adviser to Hillary Clinton when she was first lady and secretary of state, and Julissa Reynoso, chief of staff to First Lady Jill Biden, will lead the council, which will report directly to the president.

"They have to take the elevator, they're not used to that, and they have to go out on the South Lawn with lots of people watching them".

Major, who was adopted by Biden in November 2018 from a DE animal shelter, had what one of the people described as a "biting incident" with a member of White House security. "So that's what I've been obsessed with, getting everybody settled and calm", she said on "The Kelly Clarkson Show".

US President Joe Biden rescued his youngest German shepherd dog, Major.

The Bidens adopted Major in 2018 from the Delaware Humane Association.

Both dogs moved to the White House shortly after the inauguration in January. "They run all over", said Biden.

Biden will speak about International Women's Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, in remarks later Monday at the White House.

Psaki added that the injury was treated by the White House medical unit and required "no further treatment".

It was not immediately clear when - or if - the dogs would be allowed to return.

It was unclear how serious the incident was, but it appears to have been concerning enough to warrant removing the dogs from the White House.
