Video shows small plane crash into vehicle on Florida street, killing 3

Authorities said an adult and minor were transported to a nearby hospital.

A security video on a home recorded the crash when it occurred Monday near North Perry Airport. He said the single-engine plane may have experienced mechanical issues after taking off. An adult and child who were in the auto were taken to a local hospital, according to NBC Miami.

Two others inside a vehicle that crashed near the scene were also hurt.

"We heard like a bomb, like a tremendous noise, and we went outside, and everything was on fire", another neighbor, Annabel Fernandez, told the television station. It was a mother with her kid and we don't know what happened to them.

The woman's son later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Officials have not released the identities of the victims.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.

The plane burst into flames when it crashed, killing the two people on board.

According to WSVN, there were five plane crashes near the airport during the past 10 months, with four of them fatal. It appears the Bonanza had engine trouble and the pilot attempted a 180-degree turn to land on Runway 28 Left, which is less than 1500 feet south of the departure runway.

Back in May 2020, a student pilot from one of the flight schools at the airport was killed when their plane crashed during a training flight over Miramar.
