Tenth woman accuses Cuomo of sexual misconduct

Tenth woman accuses Cuomo of sexual misconduct”

"I felt like I was being manhandled".

"Governor Cuomo is Trump in sheep's clothing", said Rebecca Bailin, an activist who led the "Cuomo Must Go" demonstration.

It is unclear which other members of the administration have been subpoenaed by the attorney general's office.

The New York State attorney general's office told ABC News that it had no comment at this time on the report.

An unidentified accuser alleged that she was asked to see the governor because 'Cuomo said he could not operate the "notes" app on his iPhone and needed her assistance'. Vill is married, a mother of three and grandmother of one.

At least seven women have accused Cuomo of workplace harassment.

In a February 10 meeting with state legislators DeRosa said the state feared releasing the data on nursing home deaths over concerns that the numbers would be politicized by former President Donald Trump's administration.

In the past, Cuomo has referred to his Italian heritage as an explanation for his habit of hugging and kissing people when greeting them.

"After seeing the damage, the governor then circled to the front of the house where I was standing", Vill said.

Vill said Cuomo kissed her upon meeting her in her own home. She said she tried to pull away from Cuomo when he pulled her back and held her before she managed to escape the room.

Paul Fishman, a lawyer representing Mr. Cuomo's administration, told the outlet that there's no surprise that the Attorney General's office is interviewing witnesses and issuing requests for documents.

On March 20, McGrath accused Cuomo of sexual harassment since she was hired in 2018. When she met the governor, she says he leaned in and kissed her on both cheeks.

"They were trying to figure out if I was targeted by Melissa", Liss said.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo shakes Sherry Vill's hand inside her home. "I know the difference between an innocent gesture and a sexual one", Vill said.

Allred provided a photograph of a video showing that moment, which Vill's son shot at the time. A number of Cuomo's supporters online have even made unfounded allegations that the various accounts by his accusers are part of a conspiracy against the high-profile Democrat.

"The governor is a very powerful person in New York", Allred explained in response to another question about why Vill was only coming forward now.

The reporter, who now works in Florida, claimed that Cuomo "never let me forget I was a woman" as she also alleged that he made frequent attempts to humiliate her, including calling out her purple phone instead of answering her question during a press gaggle.

"This had a long-term effect on me", said Vill, noting that neighbors took to teasing her as "the governor's new girlfriend".

Later, the governor's office sent Vill a photo of the visit.

Cuomo signed it, "God Bless New York!".

Vill shared a copy of a July 19, 2017, letter she received from the governor in which he said he'll help homeowners affected by the flooding.

According to Vill, days later she was contacted by a member of the governor's staff by voicemail asking if she would like to attend an upcoming event with the governor. Vill said she declined because of her uncomfortable feelings after the May 2017 encounter. "I never felt as uncomfortable as I did the day that Gov. Cuomo came to my home. His actions were very overly sexual, highly inappropriate and disrespectful to me and my family". "A state assembly committee is also conducting its own investigation as the first step in an impeachment process".
