Police were called for an active shooter situation at 8:20 a.m.in the Riverside Tech Park area, Frederick Police Chief Jason Lando said. He could not say whether the shooting was inside or outside.

Police said the shooting happened at an address where a concrete business is located and about 4 miles from Fort Detrick.

The Navy did not release further details.

Brad Bell of ABC said sources told him that there are also three crime scenes in Frederick: 'One scene is in Frederick City, one in Frederick County and another on US Military ground'. The victims were flown by helicopter to Baltimore and are in critical condition, Lando said.

"The public is no longer at risk".
