Locsin tells China to 'get f”

Locsin accuses China of straining its "friendship" with the Philippines.

The Philippines' top diplomatic representative cursed the Xi Jinping regime on Twitter, amid a crisis over the presence of Chinese ships in the disputed South China Sea.

The recent dispute between Manila and Beijing over these resource-rich waters, which China claims nearly entirely, erupted in March, after hundreds of Chinese ships were spotted inside the Philippines' special economic zone. But the Philippine foreign secretary in his defense said that the "usual suave diplomatic speak gets nothing done".

The order came as his foreign affairs department accused China's coastguard of "belligerent actions" against Filipino boats involved in maritime drills near the contested Scarborough Shoal. It is located 150 miles (240 kilometers) west of the main island of Luzon in the Philippines.

NPR reported in March that China had about 220 vessels at the Whitsun Reef, which is claimed by the Philippines, China and Vietnam. You're like an ugly oaf forcing your attentions on a handsome guy who wants to be a friend; not to father a Chinese province.', Locsin said.

Chinese vessels have been criticised for their activities in the South China Sea.

He said the 2016 landmark ruling of the arbitral tribunal in The Hague is clear.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has asked the Philippines to respect what it calls Chinese sovereignty in the disputed waters and "stop actions complicating the situation and escalating disputes".

In the latest incident, the Department of Foreign Affairs said it "has protested the shadowing, blocking, unsafe maneuver and radio challenges by the Chinese coast guard of Philippine coast guard vessels conducting legitimate maritime patrols and training exercises" from April 24 to 25 near Scarborough Shoal. However, after leaving Julian Felipe Reef, some of the Chinese vessels remained scattered in nearby features of the WPS. "The Philippines' conduct of maritime patrols and training exercises in these areas is a legitimate and routine act of a sovereign country in its territory and territorial waters and is part of the Philippines' administrative responsibility", the DFA said in a statement Monday.

Scarborough Shoal is within the Philippines' 200 nautical-mile exclusive economic zone, its government said, while it's approximately 472 nautical miles from the nearest coast of China.

'Our statements are stronger because of the more brazen nature of the activities, the number, frequency and proximity of intrusions, ' Marie Yvette Banzon-Abalos, executive director for strategic communications at the foreign ministry, said.

The donations, however, have become suspect as critics say that the jabs were in exchange for the Duterte administration surrendering the WPS to China whose ships have been gathering in the disputed area.
