United States image overseas has improved with Biden election: Pew survey”

Sixty-seven percent of the 16 publics said the United States is a "very" or "somewhat" reliable partner with 57 percent saying they expected relations to remain the same and 39 percent saying they expected them to improve.

President Joe Biden salutes as he steps off Marine One before boarding Air Force One upon departure, Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Andrews Air Force Base, Md.

First Lady Jill Biden gave a brief speech in which she paid tribute to service personnel and their families, then 14-year-old Sydney Glascock, whose mother and father are both service personnel, introduced the president.

There's not much doubt the move had Russian President Vladimir Putin's approval, and its not particularly surprising that the government is clamping down on what's widely considered it's biggest, if not only, political threat.

President Joe Biden has officially touched down in the United Kingdom for this week's G7 Summit. During Biden's first visit as president to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation headquarters, the allies are likely to project a unified front.

That summit will include two other leaders whose foreign-policy favourables are comparable to Biden's: German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who earned a positive impression from 77 per cent of respondents across 16 countries, and French President Emmanuel Macron, at 63 per cent.

The United States was generally held in low regard in public opinion surveys conducted during Donald Trump's presidency.

The White House announced that President Biden would attend the G7 Summit in April.

Despite America's enhanced global standing, the survey shows that numerous 16 countries surveyed are skeptical of the U.S.as an worldwide partner and as a working democracy.

Trump held Putin blameless of allegations that Russian Federation intruded in the 2016 USA presidential election to help Trump's election victory.

In a television interview, Biden also said he considered Putin to be a "killer", a claim Putin quickly turned against the U.S.by citing its slaughter of Native Americans in the 18th century settlement of the country, and deadly abuse of minorities throughout its history.

Among the matters Biden is expected to address with Putin are recent cybersecurity attacks directed at US businesses and government agencies.
