President Donald Trump attacks Federal Bureau of Investigation probe into possible obstruction as witch hunt

Officials were quoted as saying that the investigation of attempted obstruction of justice is based on more than a war of words between the president and Mr Comey . Trump is not the first president to be subjected to a special counsel investigation, nor the first president to protest it. Comey testified before the Senate intelligence committee last week and confirmed that he gave Mueller the memos he wrote detailing his interactions with Trump ahead of his firing.
