Donal Logue's Child Is Still Missing After Nearly A Week

On July 6, 2017, actor Donal Logue continued to appeal for public assistance in locating his missing transgender daughter, Jade Logue, who was last seen in New York City on June 26. Logue, who plays Detective Harvey Bullock on a Fox television series, clarified on social media that the teenager was not a runaway.

Logue and his ex-wife used Twitter and Facebook to share updates and photos of their daughter, whom Logue described as a loving, innocent, and trusting child. According to reports at the time, the search efforts may have been complicated because official missing person documents utilized her birth name and photographs from before her transition.

In a video posted online, Logue’s ex-wife pleaded directly for her daughter’s return, stating that Jade’s gender and sexual orientation did not matter and urging her to come home. Logue also enlisted the help of prominent friends to raise awareness, including actor Danny Trejo, who released a video message. Trejo appealed to whoever was with the teenager to drop her off safely at any location, promising that no questions would be asked.

Logue warned that the situation had grown larger than anyone involved could have anticipated, while emphasizing that contact information for the family remained widely available on social media.
