Future and Nicki Minaj Connect on "You Da Baddest"

On July 28, 2017, the collaborative single “You Da Baddest” by Future and Nicki Minaj was released alongside a music video featuring the two artists. The track’s release followed a delay, as it was originally scheduled to debut the prior week.

Before its official debut, the complete song leaked online after being accidentally sold early by online retailers, including 7Digital. Although Minaj was not featured on Future’s album HNDRXX when it initially launched, she was reportedly added to the tracklist of the LP five months later. This development came after Future had selected “Incredible” as the next single from HNDRXX to be sent to United States radio stations.

In the song, Future backs Minaj with the lyrics, “We know you da baddest, baby, fk them hoes / We on a different planet, girl, fk them hoes.” Minaj delivers a guest verse that includes the line, “If she hatin’, tell that bi**h to let it go,” which was reported at the time to be a subtle dig at Remy Ma.
