Parsons Green bomb suspect's foster parents to keep caring for kids

Parsons Green bomb suspect's foster parents to keep caring for kids”

British police said they had arrested a seventh suspect in connection to the bombing of London's Parsons Green underground station that left some 29 people injured.

He has been taken to a south London police station where he is being quizzed by detectives.

Met officers detained a 20-year-old man at an address in Cardiff at around 6am this morning.

On Friday police charged Ahmed Hassan, an 18-year-old, with planting the bomb with the intention of murdering passengers on the District Line train bound for central London earlier this month. He is due in court again, at London's Old Bailey, on October 13.

A bomb partially exploded on a train at the Tube station in south-west London during rush hour, injuring 30 people.

Meanwhile, three further men - aged 17, 21, and 48 - have all been released with no further action.

Police are continuing to search properties in Cardiff and Surrey following the arrest. He is the fourth person to be arrested in Wales, after three men were detained in the city of Newport last week. "He is Kurdish, he describes terrorists like Isis as stupid".

The man said Bilal wanted to study at university but had not been able to as he was waiting for permanent residency in the United Kingdom, so was instead enrolled at a local college.

They said he was a "nice, respectful boy" who had cooked and shopped for them.

Police said magistrates granted them a warrant allowing the further detention of the 25-year-old and 30-year-old men until Tuesday.
