Special Charizard Available at Target Pokémon for Sun and Moon

Starting October 1, 2017, participating Target stores will distribute download codes for a free Level 50 Charizard for players of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. The in-store event is scheduled to run through October 14, 2017, according to reports at the time.

The promotional Charizard is level 50, has the Blaze ability, and holds a Red Card item. Its known moves are dragon dance, flare blitz, fly, and quake.

To redeem the Pokémon, players must collect a code card from a participating Target location. Players then select “Mystery Gift” on the game’s main menu, choose “Receive Gift,” and select “Get With Code/Password” to enter their code. The Charizard can then be claimed by speaking to the nearest delivery person at any in-game Pokémon Center. Along with the digital distribution, Target is offering an exclusive Trading Card Game bundle called the Charizard-GX Premium Collection. The promotion runs alongside a separate Marshadow giveaway hosted by GameStop.
